New: Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier

Slug off! The new Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier by Rosenfellner Mill declares war on these disliked garden pests. The barrier is plant-based, completely natural, environmentally friendly and sustainable – making it ideal for organic gardens. The Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier is effective against both slugs and snails and can be used in normal flower beds, as well as on raised beds or slopes. The barrier is available at selected health shops and health food stores, as well as at our mill shop.

Application:
Scatter the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier generously around the flower bed or vegetable or fruit patches leaving no gaps – approx. 5cm wide and 0.5 cm to 1 cm high. Should the plants already be infested, put some between the plants. Place a narrow rim around flower boxes. Use where needed on paths, driveways and lawn areas, making strips. Keep the barrier dry and apply again after rain. There is no waiting period before harvesting.

Hobby gardeners ask, our miller answers:

How often can I use the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier?
Being a natural product, our barrier can be applied as often as necessary. Just make sure that you keep the barrier dry and apply again after rain.

Is the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier harmful, if I accidently scatter it directly over vegetables and fruit?
No, it is completely harmless. You can eat your fruit and vegetables without concern. The barrier can even stay on the produce until harvest. Just rinse the produce thoroughly before consuming.

Does the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier pose a risk for my children and pets?
No, it is a completely natural product. Of course, it should not be consumed, but even if your child touches the barrier or ingests a small quantity of it, it is harmless. Pets usually do not eat the barrier. Should they do, it will not harm them -- neither does consuming the dead snails and slugs.

Can the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier also be used in greenhouses?
Yes, of course. Should you have applied too much to a spot, you can always use some of it in a different place or dispose of it in the organic waste.

I run a completely vegan garden. Can I still use the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier?
Our barrier is a solely plant-based product and, thus, ideally suited for vegan gardens.

Can I use the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier, if I have slugs and snails on the lawn?
Of course, you can use the barrier on your lawn. The best way is to apply it at the spot you want it and in strips. Repeat after rain or as required.

Do I have to dispose of the soil after the gardening season if I have used the Original Natural Snail and Slug Barrier?
No, you can leave the soil on the patch. Being a completely natural plant product, the barrier will have decomposed by the beginning of the next season. If you want to get rid of the barrier, you can simply put it into the organic waste or compost.
